Friday Nights in New Romney

Yesterday I went out with some of my colleagues to the pub after a hard working day.
We went to a different pub this time. It is nice to meet people from the local area and to share part of our culture since all the interns here come from different backgrounds and origins and this makes everything much more exciting!
Going to the pub to chill and relax for me is something very important especially when you work very hard during the week to achieve your goals and targets.
I love going out the the fun loving people working with Gift-tours.com!!
As we say "What happens in New Romney, stays in New Romney!"

The most erratic step taken in my life

I have currently been studying in Manchester for the past three years. I did a BA (Hons) in English.
English was initially my subject choice as I have always wanted to do something with language, maybe teaching or lecturing.
I mostly enjoyed most part of my studies as I was studying a subject that I felt comfortable with. For first year of university, I did an internship in London for 3 months in Public Relations. I was writing a lot of articles in French and English for a youth magazine. I really enjoyed this internship as I was on my own and I was mostly learning things which I would never haver learnt in a normal summer holiday job.
During my 2nd year university, I spent 6 months abroad. I was in Toulouse, where I did an internship internationally. I was working in a school where I had to teach students English. It was my first experience abroad without my family and also in regards to teaching. I enjoyed teaching a lot as it was all about dealing with young children, engaging with them, communicating differently as their first language was French and mine was English.
For my last year university, I had to do my dissertation and as I had to do a piece of creative writing which involved writing a story. Being in the UK for my dissertation was very hard for me, so I went to Mauritius which is where my origins are. For me being in a different atmosphere and location definitely helped me with my dissertation. I was also doing a voluntary work experience at the University of Mauritius in the Language Department. This work experience was slightly different from my previous ones as I was mainly dealing with older students. I was however working closely with the HR Department as I had to interview students for their university entry, especially focusing on their language skills, which is a compulsory need for the University.
After graduating, I was back in the UK and I have been trying to look for a job. I initially wanted to do my masters in 2 years time but it was hard for me to focus on the subjects that I want to pursue my career further. I was looking online and I came across www.internship-uk.com and I applied for an internship in Human Resources. I was working with Gift-tours.com and Studios-92.com. For me this has been the most amazing and eccentric working experience ever. I have been in New Romney, Kent for nearly a year. This internship has helped me to develop my communication skills a lot as I was constantly dealing with different people from all over the World. Internship-UK for me is the best and always will be. I felt so invited and so engaged as from the very first day I was there. Working in the Human Resources department has helped me to work on my weaknesses and to refine my strengths. I would say that Internship-UK and working with Gift-Tours.com and Studios-92.com has really boost up my career path!!
